PROBIOTIC & ENDOTOXIN REDUCER

-

$50.00

Spore-forming probiotics survive the digestive process unlike the common refrigerated probiotics you find on the market. B. Subtilis, B. Coagulans, and B. Clausii have been found to improve leaky gut symptoms and reduce endotoxin levels by 42% in one month.’ They also support a healthy inflammatory response and
triglycende levels.

Description

Endotoxin, or lipopolysaccharide, is a molecule that’s bound to gram negative  bacteria. These gram negative bacteria are part of our intestinal flora naturally. But when they die, it is released. Under normal circumstances the liver and intestines can quickly eliminate it, but with polyunsaturated fat (PUFA) build-up in the liver and a lifetime of excessive fiber consumption, most people are compromised.

Further, these endotoxins essentially mimic low grade sepsis. Causing a host of other issues that can sometimes be mistaken for histamine intolerance, or mast cell activation syndrome.

Low stomach acid, hypothyroidism (carbohydrate or animal protein restriction), stress, intermittent fasting, ketogenic diets, and stress all create a build-up of endotoxin.

Likewise, not helping your gut biome by flushing it out every once in a while, can allow an increase of endotoxin to build up and instigate the immune system. In fact, endotoxins are commonly correlated with certain autoimmune conditions and skin issues. This is where Mitolife’s endotoxin reducer comes in.

HOW DO YOU KNOW YOU HAVE ENDOTOXIN?

You experiences allergies (food or environmental), autoimmune conditions, acne, eczema, rashes, constipation, diarrhea, acid reflux, infertility, menstrual dysfunction, irritable bowel disorder, diabetes, arthritis, migraines, edema, insomnia, poor sleep quality, energy dips, depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, psychosis, the list goes on!

HOW CAN IT ACCOMPLISH ALL OF THIS?

When the system is compromised and cannot eliminate endotoxin, it passes through the intestinal wall, enters circulation and spreads throughout the entire system. Endotoxin itself increases intestinal permeability. Glyphosate is just a small piece of the puzzle! Got stress? Restricting carbohydrates or animal protein? Low HCL? All of these factors ultimately affect endotoxin production and their effects on our bodies.

WHAT ELSE DOES ENDOTOXIN DO?

The primary mechanism that we use to detoxify stored PUFAs from the liver is called glucuronidation, and this process is inhibited by endotoxin (Bánhegyi, et al, 1995).

Ulcerative colitis (UC) and Crohn’s disease (CD) [inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) all have endotoxin in common (Caradonna, et al., 2000).

Endotoxin increases liver and organ damage from alcohol (Purohit, et al., 2008).

Circulating lipopolysaccharide significantly increased in chronically HIV-infected individuals (Brenchley, et al., 2006).

Endotoxin suppresses the thyroid gland, the immune system and leads to an increase in nitric oxide and the stress hormones estrogen, serotonin and prolactin, which further increase endotoxin production.

SPORE BASED PROBIOTICS TO THE RESCUE!

“Spore based” is just another way of saying “soil based”. They are microorganisms that are formed from spores. You can get these same strains in the dirt or on vegetables with dirt residue. They are just concentrated in this supplement and you know exactly what you’re getting.

A study conducted by the World Journal of Gastrointestinal Pathophysiology found that just 30 (thirty!) days of spore-based probiotic oral supplementation reduced endotoxin by 42% (Mcfarlin, et al., 2017). They also saw a 24% reduction in triglycerides and a decrease in systemic inflammation markers. The subjects took two capsules a day.

They used five strains including Bacillus clausiiBacillus subtilisBacillus coagulans, the strains included in the Mitolife Probiotic. We chose to omit the carotenoid-producing strain as carotenoids have been demonstrated to suppress thyroid function if they accumulate in the tissues.

Bacillus bacteria are gram-positive instead of the endotoxin producing gram-negative bacteria. They can be found in animal guts, air, water and soil. They have the ability to make various antimicrobial and antibiotic-like compounds (Elshaghabee, et al., 2017). They also have immuno-modulatory and anti-mutagenic effects.

Like minerals, there are a lot of them, but only a handful make a difference.

Bacillus subtilis has even been studied as a prevention for diabetes. The researchers found that it protected the beta cells of the pancreas, leading to decreased blood glucose levels (Zouari, et al., 2015).

PREBIOTIC

The formula also contains a small amount of Fructooligosaccharides. This compound occurs naturally in plants and consists of a string of fructose units. They are very safe and stimulate the growth of nonpathogenic gut bacteria.

INGREDIENTS:

Probiotic Blend – 5 Billion CFU, Bacillus coagulans – LBSC, Bacillus subtilis – PLSSC, Bacillus clausii – 088AE, Prebiotic: FOS (Fructooligosaccharides) s.

SUGGESTED USAGE:

You can take one capsule with breakfast and one at night with dinner. They can also be taken on an empty stomach. Time of day when you take them doesn’t matter.
