MITOLIFE JELLYFISH JOLT (WILD-CAUGHT COLLAGEN)

$60.00

Suggested Usage: Take 1 capsule daily.

Wild-caught jellyfish collagen combines all twenty amino acids with hydrolyzed collagen types |, Il and V. It is particularly rich in the amino acids glutamate, glycine, and tryptophan which support immune, gut barrier, and nervous system function. It also contains calcium binding proteins which help protect against increased intracellular calcium.*

Description

Sea jellies, or jellyfish, are invertebrate plankton that have been drifting around the vast oceans for over 500 million years. They are composed of 92 to 95% water and breathe only through their skin. They lack a heart, brain, bones, or head. One species called Turritopsis dohrnii is biologically immortal and resides in the Mediterranean Sea and off the coast of Japan.

Edible jellyfish contain a large amount of collagen in their mesoglea, a gelatinous layer between the internal and external layers of their body structure. The amino acids found within collagen support human brain cells and protect against photoaging and skin damage from excessive ultraviolet sunlight. They have also been studied to support the innate immune system by promoting cytokine production and phagocytosis activity of macrophages.

Jellyfish collagen is the only collagen that contains all twenty essential and “non-essential” amino acids. This makes it a complete protein source. Amino acids regulate nearly every biochemical reaction in the body.

One of the most fascinating benefits of consuming jellyfish collagen is its effects on the brain. Neurotransmitters, the chemical messengers that our brain uses, are made up of amino acids. Larger neurotransmitters are multiple amino acids bound together which form neuropeptides like endorphins that elevate our mood.

It also contains minerals that support overall brain function including potassium, sodium, phosphorus, chloride, copper, calcium, magnesium, manganese, zinc, iron, sulfur and silicon. It has calcium binding proteins which may help prevent neuronal damage and cognitive decline.

The amino acids most abundant in Jellyfish Jolt are glutamic acid, serine, and tryptophan. These three play a crucial role in regulating the gut-brain-immune axis and are building blocks for serotonin, the gut barrier, and the enteric and central nervous system.

The benefits of jellyfish collagen are tremendous. “Jellyfish collagen has also been referred to as collagen type 0 due to its similarity to multiple collagen types…” (Ahmed, et al 2021). It holds up to 200% more water than other collagens on the market. Jellyfish Jolt is truly in a league of its own.

SUGGESTED USAGE:

One or more capsules everyday with or without a meal.
